Umamin Na | Bong Revilla ibinulgar na personal na humingi ng tulong si Noynoy Aquino para mapatalsik si Corona

Senator Bong Revilla delivered a bombshell as he bared that during the impeachment trial of CJ Corona in 2012, DILG secretary Mar Roxas personally drove him to NoyNoy Aquino’s house in Malacanang, and then president Aquino personally asked him to vote for the impeachment of Corona.

In a report from GMA News Online on 2014, Revilla said that during breakfast at Bahay Pangarap where PNoy used to reside, the former president asked for his help in convicting Corona. Noynoy was asking a personal favor from him, and he regretted that he obliged the president’s request.

“Pare, parang awa mo na. Ibalato mo na sa akin ito. Kailangan siya [Corona] ma-impeach.”

The former president pleaded according to Revilla.

Revilla also complained that PNoy’s administration is into the habit of meddling with the other government branches’ affairs. He also accused Aquino of excessive politicking.

“Tama po ba na habang nililitis ang dating Chief Justice na si Renato Corona ay kailangan makialam ang mismong Pangulo ng Republika sa isang prosesong legal na dapat ay independyente?”

It can be recalled that CJ Corona was impeached last May 2012 for allegedly not filing his Statement of Assets and Liabilities or SALN. It was Corona who accused then president Noynoy Aquino III of influencing the Supreme Court to rule in favor of the pork barrel (DAP) of the president as legal and constitutional.

Bong Revilla, who was recently acquitted of Plunder charges regarding the so-called PDAF scam, also hit the ex-president for not delivering on his promise of “Daang Matuwid”, with all the corruption and the countless failures that the Aquino administration has been involved. It was more of a long and winding road during the PNoy presidency.
